Thin Ice
5 hour exposure; Full Moon
reflecting on developing ice crystals

When the winter weather (finally!) seemed to relent, I was actually sad to see the ice melt and disappear. Luckily in March 2008, there were still cold enough nights to form thin ice patterns on some desert pools. I returned to the same pool in which I photographed "Moontstruck" one year earlier to expose these abstract ice patterns.
